This one of my favorite daylilies, called H. Bountiful Valley. Glowing in the dawn of a July day here in Upstate NY.
Ideally, Apple Blossoms appear in late May to early June here in Upstate NY, but a warm spring will bring them out earlier, when they’ll run the risk of getting bitten by a late frost.
Beloved by bees and butterflies, this pretty red Monarda is a real eye catcher in the garden this time of year.
One of my favorites, H. ‘Mauna Loa’ blooms for a month or more in my Upstate NY garden and it increases over time, giving you more to move or share.
This is a hover Fly, hanging out on some Queen Anne’s Lace. I don’t think they sting, though one still has the impulse to wave it away if it flies near.
